Dr. Jessica Brett Pascale is a neuropsychology post-doctoral fellow under the guidance of Dr. Solomon, specializing in adult neurocognitive disorders. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of neurological and systemic conditions, with a strong focus on dementia processes, autoimmune-related cognitive impairment, chronic pain, and acquired brain injuries. She has extensive training in the integration of structural and functional neuroimaging (MRI/fMRI) into neuropsychological diagnostics, particularly in cases involving diagnostic ambiguity or multifactorial cognitive decline.
Prior to moving to Athens, Dr. Brett Pascale completed five years of intensive training at Harvard Medical School-affiliated teaching hospitals before matching for her APA-accredited doctoral residency at Penn Medicine. There, she gained specialized experience across inpatient, outpatient, and consultation-liaison settings, including advanced assessment of neurodegenerative diseases, neuro-oncology, rehabilitation, and cognitive effects of complex medical and neurological conditions.
She holds a strong clinical and research interest in traumatic brain injury and sports concussion, having worked with both collegiate and professional athletes. Her contributions to the field include published research on neurodevelopmental vulnerabilities in concussion recovery and the cognitive interplay between chronic pain and persistent post-concussion symptoms. Dr. Brett Pascale remains an active member of the Sports Neuropsychological Society, where she continues to present her work and collaborate with experts in athlete brain health. A lifelong
equestrian, she is passionate about preserving brain health so athletes can sustain their passion long-term.
Dr. Brett Pascale is passionate about accurate and thoughtful diagnostic impression and empirically validated treatment planning through sensitive, targeted assessment batteries tailored to each individual. Whether her client is 5 or 90 years old, she takes a thoughtful, holistic, and empathetic approach to their care.
